A Message from the Principal

Marquez, which opened in 2007, serves approximately 533 students from kindergarten to eighth grade. Marquez is the 2017-2020 Kellogg School of Management Accelerate Grant. In addition to their diverse athletic teams, students can participate in tutoring, Folkloric Dance Club, Boy and Girl Scouts, cheerleading, musical theater, and student government. The school offers monthly family engagement events and workshops for parents such as family cooking and nutrition support. Marquez combines a disciplined and structured learning environment with a social and emotional growth program to give scholars what they need to be successful in high school and beyond. Marquez is part of the Acero Charter Schools network. At Acero Schools, our mission is transforming minds through academic empowerment and success. We provide a strong academic foundation for students at the elementary level to help them master the fundamental skills necessary for success in high school and beyond. - - - - - - - - - - - - Welcome to Marquez Elementary!
