All CPS and Charter school educators and Central Office staff are welcome to attend the event.

This event is remote and will be entirely online.

You do not need to register in the Learning Hub. You can register for Googlepalooza in SCHED.

Nothing, the event is completely free!

Up to 25 ISBE hours can be earned at Googlepalooza! An email will go out to attendees with the directions after the event is over.

Sessions will be hosted online via video conferencing and audio on various platforms such as Google Live Stream, Google Meet, Zoom, WebX, Skype and Microsoft Teams. A link to the session will be available in your schedule.

Sign in to SCHED using your CPS email account. Then hover your cursor over your profile picture on the left and click My Sched.

The link to the session will be available in your schedule in SCHED no later than the morning of the session. Each morning you will receive an email with your scheduled sessions. You can also access your scheduled sessions by following the steps below:

1. Go to SCHED. Click here for instructions on how to use our scheduling tool, SCHED. 
2. Hover your cursor over your round, profile picture on the left of the page and click My sched to view your schedule.
3. Click on the session in your schedule. 
4. Click on the link/play button in the session to join the presentation.

You must register in SCHED with your CPS.edu email address. Sessions hosted via Google Live Stream require a CPS.edu email to join. If a session you are interested in is offered as a Live Stream, look for the same session being hosted on another platform (e.g., Google Meet). If the session is only being delivered via Live Stream, you will have access to the recorded session afterwards.

In order to access Live Stream sessions, you must be logged in to your Chrome browser directly with your CPS account. If you do not have a CPS.edu email yet, you will not be able to access Live Stream sessions.

It will be noted in the session description. Additionally, if the session capacity is not capped (e.g., Google Meet is limited to 200 participants), it is likely a Live Stream.

Unfortunately, we are limited to the maximum capacity that the platforms can support. If the session you want to attend is full, you will have to find another session. However, all session presentation materials and the session recording will be available in Drive and on the Googlepalooza website after the event is over.

Sessions will be recorded and shared with the district after the event is over. Materials will live in this folder in Drive and can also be found on this page after the event. We’ll make sure to update you in an email when the materials are ready to view. Please bear with us, we have a lot of sessions to upload after the event is over.

You must register using your CPS email address if you want to receive ISBE credit hours. Registration will not be done via the Learning Hub, however, you can still receive professional development credit for each session attended. To receive credit, please complete the feedback feature in the session description (smiley/frowny faces). You will not receive credit if you have not completed the feedback in SCHED. 

1. Select a face that describes how you liked the session.
2. AND enter a comment in the box.
3. Click Submit Feedback.

Presenters will share their preferred Q&A method during the session. Q&A options may include but are not limited to Google Forms, in-meeting Chat, separate Q&A Meet sessions, Google Slides Q&A feature, Pear Deck and NearPod.
