Help Develop the New Arts Education Plan
Students, share your voice! We're developing a new plan to advance accessible, equitable, and high-quality arts education — and we need your input. Join us for focus groups and roundtable discussions to share your experiences and aspirations for the future of arts education at CPS.
Community Services Block Grant Scholarship
The City of Chicago is now accepting applications for the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Scholarship. The program will award scholarships to eligible students for the fall semester of 2024 to cover the cost of tuition, vocational training, and other expenses. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $5,000 for income-eligible residents. Apply by September 20, 2024.
What to Know About the Elected School Board
Beginning in January of 2025, CPS begins the transition to a fully elected school board. View the sub-district that will represent your neighborhood and visit CPSBOE for information on the responsibilities of the board, info sessions, and running for a seat on the Elected School Board.
