Lead with CPS in the Talent Office Offers Project Management and Planning Training Course We are excited to announce that Lead with CPS in the Talent Office is offering a professional development training course, Project Management and Planning. Featuring content from FranklinCovey’s Project Management for the Unofficial Project Manager, this program, set to launch in 2024, is designed specifically for Central and Network Office employees who are managers of self. The training will be facilitated by a Peer Trainer, a subject matter expert CPS employee that has customized this course for effective application and utility to the CPS environment.

The training equips learners with the mindset, skillset, and toolset to engage and inspire team members. The course will help learners:

  • Building strong informal authority that inspires project teams to consistently volunteer their best efforts
  • Utilize a consistent process to start and finish high-value projects on time and with quality
  • Influence and engage others to define a clear project scopes, including clear deliverables and risk strategies
  • Model openness and agility to apply proactive change management and deliver high-value projects

From foundational principles to proven techniques, participants will engage in:

  • Interactive Workshops
  • Practical Exercises
  • Insightful Discussions

Lead with CPS in the Talent Office is committed to equitable and quality career pathways. Therefore, we are strategically offering 18 trainings covering four (4) skill-sets that were chosen by staff related to RISE competencies. Seats are limited. Waiting lists will be held.
