CPS has numerous contracts in place with pre-approved Vendors to assist schools in making furniture purchases. The intent is to encourage schools to use this process as a means of ensuring the products purchased meet the health, safety and longevity expectations for furniture within our schools.
Additionally, by using these pre-approved Vendors, there is assurance of the following:
- The purchase includes delivery and installation at the school’s location, not just the loading dock or lobby.
- Products are received without any shipping damage.
- Furniture is assembled correctly.
- Facility personnel or parents are not needed to assist with the assembly, which can void the manufacturer’s warranties.
Please keep in mind that there are Vendors with active Vendor numbers in addition to the ten Vendors listed in this help page. However, only the Vendors listed below have been vetted for the furniture items they offer.
