Campus, parking and building perimeter must be lighted to provide for the safety of the people and the security of the property. A complete exterior lighting system for parking lots, roadways, and building perimeter shall be provided complete with fixtures, drivers, controls, and accessories.
All site fixtures shall be specified with Full Cutoff IESNA Classification. The maximum candela value of all interior lighting shall fall within the building (not out through windows) and the maximum candela value of all exterior lighting shall fall within the property line. Any luminaire within a distance of 2.5 times its mounting height from the property boundary shall have shielding such that no light from that luminaire crosses the property boundary. Exterior parking and site areas shall be illuminated with LED fixtures with full cut off. No light shall trespass to the adjacent property.
Meet or provide lower light levels and uniformity ratios than those recommended by the IES RP-33-14 Recommended Practice Manual: Lighting for Exterior Environments.
Exterior lighting shall be controlled by a time clock and local/automatic controls via the lighting control system or zone controller.
For internally illuminated exterior signage, do not exceed a luminance of 200 cd/m2 (nits) during nighttime hours and 2000 cd/m2 (nits) during daytime hours.

LED full cutoff fixtures on 20-foot poles for roadways and parking areas. No light trespass will be allowed to adjacent property.
Classify the project under one lighting zone in the Illuminating Engineering Society and International Dark Sky Association (IES/IDA) Model Lighting Ordinance (MLO) User Guide. Using the lighting zones definitions provided, do not exceed luminaire backlight, uplight, and glare (BUG) ratings, based on the specific light source installed in the luminaire, as defined in IES TM-15-11, Addendum A.
Provide an empty raceway system for exterior athletic fields.
Exterior building perimeter lighting shall be mounted every 60 feet and at all exterior doors. Perimeter lighting shall spotlight the building mounted school signage.
