A Message from the Principal

Volta Elementary School is a vibrant learning community dedicated to academic excellence, inclusivity, and fostering a lifelong love of learning. A cornerstone of Volta’s commitment to inclusivity and academic rigor is our thriving Dual Language Program. Designed to promote bilingualism, biliteracy, and cross-cultural understanding. Our Dual Language Program provides students with the invaluable opportunity to learn in both English and Spanish. The Dual Language Program is a source of pride for our school community, embodying our belief in the power of language to connect and empower the next generation of future leaders. Located in the heart of Albany Park, one of the most diverse neighborhoods in Chicago, Volta serves a diverse population of students from Pre-K through 8th grade, embracing the cultural richness and unique talents that each child brings to our classrooms. Our school is committed to providing a well-rounded education through rigorous academics, engaging extracurricular programs, and a strong focus on social-emotional growth. At Volta, we strive to create a supportive environment where students, families, and staff collaborate to help every learner achieve their full potential and prepare for success in high school and beyond.
