Sign Up to Attend Sept. 24 Public Negotiation Session at 10 a.m. Today

Dear CPS Staff and Families, 

The next public negotiation session between CPS and our partners at the Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) is scheduled for Tuesday, September 24 at 5 p.m. at Cameron Elementary School - 1234 N. Monticello Avenue. The topic of this negotiation session will be our plans around Sustainable Community Schools (SCS).

How to Participate 

You can sign up to attend the September 24 session in person beginning at 10 a.m. today. Please use this link to register at that time. The registration form will remain open until the venue’s capacity is reached. 

If you cannot attend the September 24 session in person, we urge you to watch the negotiations live via the District’s YouTube channel. 

Our goal is to provide our teachers with a contract that rewards their talent and hard work while ensuring that we are meeting students’ needs and setting our District up for success in the future. We thank you for your interest in this process and hope you can participate in our next public negotiation session on Tuesday, September 24.

La próxima sesión de negociación pública entre las CPS y nuestros socios del Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) está programada para el martes 24 de septiembre a las 5 p.m. en la Escuela Primaria Cameron - 1234 N. Monticello Avenue. El tema de esta sesión de negociación serán nuestros planes en torno a las Escuelas Comunitarias Sostenibles (SCS, según sus iniciales en inglés).

Si no puede asistir personalmente a la sesión del 24 de septiembre, le recomendamos que vea las negociaciones en vivo a través del canal de YouTube del Distrito. 

Nuestro objetivo es brindarles a nuestros maestros un contrato que recompense su talento y trabajo arduo, al mismo tiempo que garantizamos que satisfacemos las necesidades de los estudiantes y preparamos a nuestro Distrito para el éxito en el futuro.
