We have taken significant steps to become a national leader in providing healthy school meals through the implementation of nutrition standards beyond what is required by the USDA meal pattern requirements, seasonal and culturally relevant ingredients, reducing Ingredients of Concern, aligning with the Good Food Purchasing Policy standards, and policies that regulate the nutrition, sale, and marketing of unhealthy food to students.
Nutrition Services Support also works to ensure the CPS school meal program is a well-managed, fiscally sound operation.
