The application period for all students for the 2018-2019 school year is open from October 10, 2017, through December 22, 2017.
For the 2018-2019 school year, the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) will utilize the Northwestern Evaluation Association Measures of Academic Progress (NWEA MAP) for the eligibility/selection process for students applying to grades 5-9 for elementary or high school programs that have minimum academic eligibility requirements.
For students who did not attend a CPS school during the 2016-2017 school year, are not currently enrolled at a CPS school, and will be applying to programs with eligibility requirements for grades 5-9 for the 2018-2019 school year, the NWEA MAP will be offered free of charge at multiple locations around the city.
The last remaining NWEA MAP test dates will take place in January 2018. In order for students to be scheduled to test for the final NWEA MAP test dates, the registration form below must be received by the Office of Access and Enrollment no later than December 22, 2017.
