Responsible for:
- Developing and implementing district pre-K through 12th grade assessment strategy
- Assisting schools in building an assessment strategy
- Advising on adoption of assessments
- Coordinating the logistics, training, and communication of centralized large-scale assessments
- Leading the development of district assessments
- Managing federal, state, and district testing initiatives
- Providing accurate and timely information regarding testing purposes, procedures, and results
- Providing guidance on the appropriate use of assessment results for systems of accountability and opportunity
