Free Meals Available All Summer Long

LunchStop providing food and fitness to CPS students

July 23, 2015

School begins on September 8, and CPS wants all students returning to the classroom healthy and ready to learn.

To help ensure children receive adequate nutrition during their summer break, the District is once again offering its LunchStop program, which provides daily meals at 40 locations throughout the city.

This fun, outdoor experience offers more than just food, with students participating in physical activities such as soccer, yoga, and school gardening, as well as receiving important nutrition education to help them make healthy food choices.

To find a LunchStop location near you, visit cps.edu/summermeals, or email
summer-food@cps.edu with any questions.
