July 11, 2014

To ensure students have access to nutritious food during the summer months, CPS is offering FREE outdoor meals through the LunchStop Program.

Students 18-years-old and younger are encouraged to visit one of 250 LunchStop locations daily to receive a delicious, healthy meal and participate in fun outdoor activities. Meals are served from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Monday- Friday and are completely free of charge. In addition, participating students can enjoy activities such as yoga, gardening, soccer, and nutrition education.

CPS anticipates serving over 800,000 free meals this summer, helping students stay healthy so that they can return to school energized and ready to learn. LunchStop locations are listed below or call 1-800-359-2163.
