Applications for Interested New Early Childhood Community Agency Providers is Now Open
Through Chicago: Ready to Learn!, Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is releasing an application designed to ensure that children in every area of the city have access to high quality early learning services.
Chicago: Ready to Learn! aims to build a stronger foundation for success in school and life for Chicago's children and to:
- Increase access to early childhood education and care;
- Match early childhood program models to children and family needs;
- Ensure early childhood programs are of high quality.
In an effort to continue to increase access to high quality programs for children and their families, Chicago Public Schools is accepting applications for interested new community based organizations interested in receiving funding from CPS and be a participant of Chicago: Ready to Learn! beginning in the 2014-2015 School Year.
The RFP (Request for Proposals) is now open to new providers interested in and qualified to provide early childhood services in the city of Chicago. Current CPS providers do not need to re-apply.
Applications are being accepted now through April 16, 2014. Two copies of the application must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 16, 2014, to Chicago Public Schools, 125 South Clark Street, Chicago, IL by 5:00 p.m. the to the Office of Early Childhood Education.
Updated information will be posted on the Office of Early Childhood Education web site located on CPS.edu.
