Overview
Early Childhood ensures all children ages birth through age eight have equal access to comprehensive high-quality program options, and support on a developmental continuum. Here is a list of the programs and services we offer.
Kindergarten options
Kindergarten provides children with an opportunity to learn and practice the essential social, emotional, problem-solving, and study skills that they will use throughout their schooling. Through common goals and high expectations, CPS is dedicated to building a strong foundation and igniting a passion for a lifelong learning for children and their families. We strive to:
- Prepare students for the future by providing challenging and rewarding experiences
- Provide quality education and child care services
- Create engaging learning environments that encourage all students
Each elementary school offers students in its attendance area either half-day, full-day, or a four-hour kindergarten program.
Preschool options
