The 11th annual CPS High School Fair takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, at McCormick Place, North Building Hall C-1, 2301 S. King Dr.
The fair is as an opportunity for future high school students and their parents/guardians to explore their high school choices. Parents and students will be given the chance to ask questions and receive information about the programs offered at CPS high schools.
More than 80 CPS high schools will be represented at the fair. Applications for selective enrollment, magnet, International Baccalaureate, career academy, and other CPS high schools and programs will be distributed. In addition CPS will make available the new High School Directory, which includes the results from the High School Student Connection Surveys.
The fair is open to all elementary and middle school students from public, private and parochial schools, and is free of charge.
