Walgreens and CPS are co-sponsoring a free health event to help students get current medical exams and all required immunizations before the Oct. 15 deadline. Students must have proof of required immunizations and health exams before Oct. 15, or they will face exclusion from school.

The Back-to-School Health Event takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on August 16 at Englewood High School, 6201 S. Stewart Ave.

Walgreens is providing: 

• Free immunizations, physicals and dental examinations for students
• Free giveaways for the first 250 students
• Free health screenings for adults ($115 value)

A former Chicago Bears player will also make a special guest appearance at the event.

Everyone is welcome to attend.
