The first CPS Elementary School Fair for the Options for Knowledge Program will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), at the Hermann Hall Conference Center, 3241 S. Federal Street.

The fair is designed to expose parents and students to the variety of options available through the Options for Knowledge program for elementary school students. This includes magnet schools, magnet cluster schools, open enrollment schools, and Gifted and Enriched Academic Programs. 

Informative materials will be available, and parents will have the opportunity to meet with administrators of the participating schools and programs. In addition, the Office of Academic Enhancement staff will be on hand to provide pertinent information regarding the application, selection, and notification process.
