Open to CPS reassigned teachers and those displaced from teaching positions since January 1, 2010

 

WHAT:         

2010 Career Event for Impacted CPS Teachers

 

WHEN:         

Tuesday, August 24 

8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

 

WHERE:      

McCormick Place-West Building

Room 375e (Gates 40 & 41)

2301 S. Lake Shore Drive

 

The career fair is limited to teachers who have been reassigned or displaced since January of 2010 and excludes those actively employed or new to CPS.  Over 50 schools are expected to be in attendance looking to fill active vacancies. During the morning session, teachers will be able to approach school tables to speak with hiring principals (or other school representatives). Principals may invite teachers to return to their table during the afternoon for a more in-depth 20-minute interview. Pre-registration for the event is not required.
