Futures Exhange LogoFutures Exchange: Through the CPS Futures Exchange Program, the Partnership Group facilitates donations of time, talent, and material resources given by companies, organizations, or individuals to CPS. The aim is for every one of our 600 schools to develop a partnership with a business or organization. Visit the Futures Exchange website for more information.

Free Things: Often companies and individuals give CPS material goods such as furniture, bookcases, office supplies, musical instruments and new computers. We post these items on the "Free Things" page so schools can see what is available. Principals and staff may then request items from the list. Donations are tax deductible. For more information and/or to view the list, visit the Free Things page.

Teacher For A DayTeacher for a Day (TFAD): Teacher for a Day is a joint venture between the Chicago Public Schools and the Chicago Teachers Union to give business and community members a better understanding of and develop a deeper appreciation for the work Chicago Public Schools’ teachers provide each school day. The event will allow individuals a glimpse into the classroom to see firsthand what it takes to be a Chicago Public School teacher. Click here for the 2008 Application Form (2MB).
