Calculate Your Child's Score To Date

The Selective Enrollment Point Calculation Tool is designed to support decision-making in the Selective Enrollment High Schools application process, and aid parents and students in identifying schools that match well with students' achievement.

Students may apply to up to six Selective Enrollment High Schools. In order to maximize the student's chances for receiving an offer, it is important to not only consider the student's desire to attend a school, but also the student's potential for success and chances for acceptance, based on his/her academic record. The Point Calculation Tool allows parents to enter the student's seventh grade standardized test scores and final grades, then shows the range of points that the student might need to score on the admissions exam in order to be accepted. The tool also shows the minimum and maximum scores of students selected to each Selective Enrollment High School in the most recent selection process.

You can view the cutoff scores by tier, for each SEHS school for applications for the 2017 - 2018 school year.

It is important that parents understand that the points required for admission to Selective Enrollment High Schools change from year to year; the historical data that are provided are intended to serve as a guide.
