Online Portal Info for Non-CPS Students

If you have a non-CPS child who is applying to schools for the 2017-2018 school year, please read the important information below:

Students applying to preK through grade 4:

Return to the online application site, and click 'Step 1' to open your online account and request a Personal Identification Number (PIN), which will be mailed to your home.

Students applying to grades 5-9, applying to Selective Enrollment Elementary or High Schools, Magnet High Schools and Programs, IB High Schools, Military Academies, and/or CTE-College and Career Academies:

Students must first take the NWEA MAP, which is the test required by CPS in order to determine student eligibility for the schools and programs listed above.

If you registered your child for the NWEA MAP after September 9th, your child will be scheduled to take the NWEA MAP in January 2017. You will not receive a PIN and you cannot apply using the online process. You will need to submit paper applications for the programs in which you are interested for the 2017-2018 school year. Please ensure that your applications are received by the Office of Access and Enrollment no later than December 9, 2016.

If you have not registered your child for the NWEA MAP, click here to register by December 9, 2016. You will not receive a PIN and you cannot apply using the online process. You will need to submit paper applications for the programs in which you are interested, along with the NWEA Registration Form, by December 9, 2016.
