Parent Collaborative meetings bring together parents and community members from Title 1 schools within each network to achieve these goals:
- Provide parents with updated and relevant district data to better inform them of the status of their individual schools
- Connect parents with both citywide and CPS departmental resources to help foster their leadership skills and their engagement in the learning process
- Deliver both need-based and research-based workshops to ensure we are empowering and servicing schools
- Help parents create partnerships with educators, students, and other parents to increase the social, cultural, and human capital in their schools
